Unfinished: Prismacolor Portrait

Here's another portrait that I found while digging around my desk the other day.

This one is unfinished.  Obviously.  If you can't tell, then I encourage you to look again.  My professor always told me that my portraits were too happy and smiley and started pulling out all of this art therapy against me, which I resented.  But when I try to tone them down a bit, I feel like my subjects just become crabby.

Drawing crabby people makes me crabby, so this piece is unfinished, and will probably remain so.  It's not a great likeness anyway, so all motivation of that kind does not apply.

Do you have pieces that are unfinished?  And are likely to remain so?  Please tell me that I'm not the only one!
