Envelope Liners: Birch Bark Beauties

There's something new in the shop!

Beautiful envelope liner designs have been added for instant download!  That way you can have as many as your beauty-loving heart desires, and use them for multiple events (envelope color is up to you).  I am just thrilled with how these birch bark envelope liners turned out, and the other designs are quite on point as well, if I do say so myself!

I just love how the liner and these raspberry envelopes tie this entire stationery set together, don't you?  What color envelope would you pair with this liner?  Would you use this for your upcoming party or wedding?

Be sure to swing by the shop and check out the other designs! I can't wait to share them with you in the upcoming weeks :)

Desert Succulent Wedding Stationery

I've got another new wedding stationery set available in the shop!
I love this watercolor succulent piece—it was so fun to create and play with, and I am extra thrilled ot be able to share it with you now.

Because I'm crazy—and because my instagram help was just as indecisive as I am—I decided to give you two options for invitation layout! Yes, in addition to all of the other options that I provide as far as custom color, text and price points, we now have the option of layout *happy dancing*

As usual, this wedding invitation suite has coordinating RSVP cards, direction and accommodation cards, wedding programs, table numbers and thank you cards.  All available in the shop for your convenience and customization!

Wedding Invitation: Boho Lace

One of the frustrating parts of designing for my own business is that there is a lot of trial and error that goes into the every day.  You think you're on the right track, you walk away from it or ask a friend's advice and just like that: the perfection that was staring you right in the face a minute ago is gone!

Here's an example of this type of frustration—the "Gypsy Lace" Wedding suite.

While I was still in the beginning states, I thought I had hit upon a real winner!  So boho, so trendy!  Loved the watercolor accents, and it would be easy for me to adjust the color balance to fit any bride's preferences.
I even went so far as to have the mocks made up (above), but upon revealing the design to friends and family, I found a similar response from all of them.

A resounding "eh"

Yikes.  It's not the style that I typically follow, so maybe that is why it did not receive the response that I expected, but I was disappointed.
Needless to say, this little gypsy has not made her debut until now and will likely remain out of the shop until further notice.

Haha, better luck next time I suppose ;)

Does this ever happen to you?

Graduate: Art Deco Invitation

Photo © http://www.prophotobob.com/
Bringing a little bit of glam to the shop with this Graduation Announcement for the class of 2015.
It's hard to believe (but surprisingly easy when I'm in the classroom, funny how that works) that this academic year is coming to a close.

One of my College-age siblings is done, the other has 3 more weeks and I can already smell the sweet fragrance of freedom  summer.  While people like to put teachers down for having the summers off, without that rest (and we still work during the majority of it) we wouldn't be able to come back and do it again each year.  And I am ready!

Anyway, enough about that—back to the graduates!  A new journey is starting, and so very exciting for all involved.  I loved my time at the Arborshire during my own undergrad and I am excited for all of those who are about to start their own adventures, though I am sorry to see some of our students leave.
Bittersweet, as many things are.

To see this design, and others, check out the shop!

Wedding Stationery: Watercolor Rose Border

More watercolor flowers?
Yes.
All day.
E-ryday

Another stationery style that is decorating the shop, instagram and life.

This envelope liner just takes the cake, doesn't it??

I just love the versatility of this design.  Not only in terms of color schemes (and let me tell you, there are quite a few... I know because I spent a lot of time playing with it!), but also the different wedding styles that it would compliment.  While I originally designed this one around some "boho" inspiration (details lower down), I have since seen so many other inspiration shoots that this would work with!

And HELLO!  The dark background? I might even like this better than the original?  Still deciding...
What do you think?

Wedding Stationery: Boho Chic Monogram

Classy, boho chic.

This wedding style includes invitation, postcard style RSVP, programs, table numbers and thank you card design.
I just love the gold wreath around the single initial (or monogram) in this wedding stationery set.  I think one of the greatest parts about this stationery is the fact that it is so versatile and can really be used with so many different wedding themes.  I created two boards below that inspired the making of this classy boho set.

Wedding Stationery: Romantic Birch Bark

Another set of Wedding stationery is now in the shop!  This style includes an invitation (of course), a postcard style RSVP card, a wedding program and table numbers to keep your event as lovely
I love the contrast between the texture of the birch bark in the background and the more delicate watercolors.

I had so much fun with this one, that I pulled together my inspiration in the photo below!
